TTT Land Acknowledgment: We are on Lingít Aaní (Tlingit land) and we acknowledge and give honor and respect to the traditional landowners, the Taantʼá Ḵwáan and Saanya Ḵwáan Tlingit elders, past, present and future generations. We honor the original people of this land and the sovereign relationship they keep with their lands, their languages, (all) their ancestors, and future generations. Gunalchéesh aatlein to the Taantʼá Ḵwáan and Saanya Ḵwáan Tlingit. We acknowledge their stewardship of this ancestral land, is why it is here today and for generations to come!

Trixie Kalkins-Bennett is the owner of Trixie's Tongass Tonics. She comes from the great Tlingit Nation, Kaach.ádi clan of the Shtax’héen Kwáan people of “Lingít Aaní” which translates as the Land of the Tlingit and is also known as the Tongass National Forest. She is Tahltan from her father's people from Telegraph B.C. and a grandchild of the Naanyaai, of Wrangell, Alaska.
